A long time ago, when I started this blog, I thought that I was faced with a choice. That choice was basically surrounding how to use this and what it was for. I saw a lot of writers who really were all about self promotion or company promotion. In fact, that’s WHY I saw them. [...]

Just so we are clear, the term “trial by fire” is misused all the time. I got to thinking about this the other day. I referred to my current working situation as a trial by fire, when it’s actually just difficult. You see, a trial by fire is actually a euphamism for the trite “Damned [...]
“This isn’t the way it should work!”
Never ceases to surprise me how often organizations of all kinds don’t really operate the way they “should.” In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever worked for a company or went to a school or played on a team that truly operated as everyone thought it should.

how you suffered for your sanity
how you [...]

Blogging has really taken a backseat lately. I’ve been working out a lot more, usually right after work, but some days I’ll work out over the lunch hour and eat while [...]
